Ruby, gatnet rim. Red berries, cassis and blueberries, scented, some tobacco and leather with air, cedar touch. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, fruity, elegant and nuanced, red berries finish, long. 93

2001 Château La Fleur Morange
Ruby, thin garnet rim. Mulberries, mint, spices, plums, touch of figs and chocolate, some vanilla. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, dark berries, spices, red fruits, anise, detailed, long finish. 92

2011 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, pure nose, some minerals and a light tropical touch, fairly tight nose at this stage. Fresh acidity, fruity, elegant, rounded, soft and smooth texture, caressing, lovey balance, long. 94

2007 Bruno Clair Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St. Jacques
Bright ruby, garnet rim. Tight nose, lacks fruit and nuances, some red berries, doesn't open much even after hours in decanter. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, some red berries, lean palate, lacks fruit and vigour, short. 83

2004 Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande
Ruby. Cassis, red berries, light scented note nose, touch herbal. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner palate, fresh but hollow. Herbs. Once again, short and stubby. 86

2013 Duplessis Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, lemons, minerals, touch of flint, detailed if tight nose, needs decanting. Fresh acidity, fruity, minerals, apples, lemons, some smoky notes and plaster, layered, quite intense, long. Has a minerals backbone to it. 94

2005 Château Climens
Golden. Honey, apricots, fruity, vanilla, rich, intense, layered, deep and concentrated, nuanced. Fresh acidity, playful, rich, intense, juicy, apricots, loads of pineapples, creamy, intense, slight touch of bitterness, long, very long. 96
